GAME SHEET TEMPLATE FOR H/L COACHES

Game sheets are to be completed by all coaches in the U10-U18 House League divisions of the NYKHA. Teams should deliver their game sheet to the timekeeper(TK) bench before the game for ALL divisions (ideally at least 5 mins prior to puck drop). If a team does not provide a game sheet, timekeepers are expected to delay the start of game until they supply one, but the TK will start the clock to ensure the games remain on schedule. Each team supplies their own game sheet. If a team forgets a game sheet one can be borrowed from the other team, or failing that if the if TK has a spare one, they can give ONE blank one to the team. Immediately after the game ends each team should visit the TK and take a photo of the game sheet if they wish after the game. Within 24 hours of game ending the TK will submit the game sheet and score to the NYKHA.

Attached is a game sheet template in Excel format for all the coaches to DOWNLOAD.  Coaches can download a copy, enter their player roster then save for all ensuing games.  Coaches will then simply need to add the game information, print a copy to bring to the week’s game, mark the player attendance and hand the completed sheet to the TK before the game. Also included is a sample of a completed game sheet that has been properly filled out and should allow coaches to complete the document for their respective teams.
