2025/26 YEAR END UPDATE

The North York Knights Hockey Association (NYKHA) is entering the last month of its 2025/2026 season.  Thank you to all the coaches, parents, players, and officials for all their hard work so far this year.  We look forward to ending the season with lots of enthusiasm and good sportsmanship.

Below is a reminder of what is happening on upcoming dates:

• March 14/15 – March Break – no practices and no games
• March 28/29 – Finals

 

 

The following outlines the dates and formats for the year end playoffs by age group. 

 

U6/7/8

• There will be games on Saturday, March 28^th  (during normal practice times) and Sunday, March 29^th  (during normal game times)
• There will be no Jamboree for House League as the Jamboree is for Learn to Play.
• there are no playoffs in the U6/7/8 division.

U9

• Regular season ends Sunday, March 22^nd , 2026.  Rankings will then be determined.
• Playoff format:

            Saturday, March 28^th

1. 9:00 am at Oriole Semi-final (Team 1 v 4)
2. 9:10 am at Pleasantview Semi-final (Team 2 v 3)

            Sunday, March 29^th

1. 1. 4:30 pm at Bayview (Bronze medal game)
   2. 5:40 pm at Bayview (Gold medal game)

U10/11/12

• Playoff seeding round-robin ends Sunday, March 22^nd, 2026.  Rankings will then be determined.  The top 4 Teams will be placed in Group A and the next four Teams will be placed in Group B.
• Playoff format:

             Saturday, March 28^th, 2026

1. 1. 10:00 am at Oriole – Group A Semi-final: Team 1 versus Team 4
   2. 11:00 am at Oriole – Group A Semi-final: Team 2 versus Team 3
   3. Noon at Oriole – Group B Semi-final: Team 1 versus Team 4
   4. 1:00 pm at Oriole – Group B Semi-final: Team 2 versus Team 3

 

             Sunday, March 29^th, 2026

1. 1. 6:00 pm at Mitchell Field – Group B Championship
   2. 7:00 pm at Mitchell Field – Group A Championship
   3. 8:00 pm at Mitchell Field – Losing Teams in Group B Consolation
   4. 6:40 pm at Bayview – Losing Teams in Group A Consolation

U13/14/15

U16/17/18
