2018 RECIPIENTS OF KNIGHTS AWARDS
The Selection Committee of the Knights is pleased to announce the recipients of the North York Knights Hockey Association awards that reflect exceptional commitment to their team and/or the Knights Hockey Association. Congratulations to Luke McDonald, Steve Horvath and Quinn Sondermeyer for their well-deserved awards for their commitment and long-standing volunteer work with the Knights!

Award | 2018 Recipient | Criteria |
Graeme Ruthven Award | Luke McDonald | The recipient is a House League player in his or her last year of high school who has shown exceptional commitment to their team and the Association during his or her hockey career with the North York Knights. |
David Tysall Award | Steve Horvath (Volunteer) | The David Tysall Volunteer Award is given annually to the volunteer within the Association who has generously, quietly, tirelessly and without prompting donated countless hours toward the ongoing success of the North York Knights Hockey Association. |
Blessed Trinity Bursary | Quinn Sondermeyer | The Bursary recipient is a player, referee or timekeeper in the Knights House League who is in their final year of high school and has shared to a Committee their insight into the value of belonging to the Knights Hockey Association, shown ongoing dedication to volunteering and demonstrated a strong commitment to their studies. |
