TYKES SCRIMMAGE AT LEAFS VS RED WINGS GAME

On March 24, 2018, the North York Knights Tyke’s parent volunteers and their children were invited to participate in Tim Horton’s Timbits hockey scrimmage during the first intermission of the Leaf’s vs. Detroit Red Wings game. It was a very exciting night that had the volunteers and children feeling like real NHL players! They travelled down to the ACC on a coach bus, entered the ACC via the players entrance, were provided Leaf’s Timbit jersey’s and socks and as the main event, got to play a scrimmage game. The players were so thrilled to be able to skate on the big ice and hear the roar of the crowds. The evening was topped off watching the rest of the game in seats provided by Tim Horton’s and a very quiet bus ride home.
