WELCOME BACK TO THE NYKHA!
With summer officially over, it is now time for hockey! The executive team of the North York Knights Hockey Association (NYKHA) is very excited about the upcoming 2023-2024 season.
- Tell a friend – The registration numbers to-date are very encouraging but the league has room for more players. Encourage your neighbors, friends and family members to join the Knights. We are one of the few hockey associations in Toronto that offers a weekly practice and a weekly game. Registration details can be found at: House League Registration.
There is also room for more players in some of the Learn to Play (“LTP”) sessions. Please encourage your neighbors, friends and family members to visit the LTP registration page at: Learn to Play Registration
- Schedules – We know families are busy and at this point in the year are scheduling Fall and Winter events. We recently finalized our ice contracts with the City of Toronto and are finalizing the schedule. To help you plan your weekends, we have set out below a tentative practice schedule. It is subject to change (with minor tweaks based on final registration numbers). Similar to previous years, games will start late Sunday afternoons for the youngest age division and will end with games starting between 8 – 8:15 pm for the oldest age division. Teams are in the process of being set up and the game schedule is being populated.

- Volunteers – The success of our League is based on our volunteers. We need Dvisional Conveners as well as coaches and Team Snap coordinators for each team. If you want to volunteer as a convener or coach, please respond to Ed Lau at elauknights@gmail.com and provide details (including indicating the relevant age group).
- Sponsorship – Do you want to sponsor a house league team? Sponsorship opportunities exist for $600 per team. With sponsorship you (or your business) will be entitled to add a sponsor’s logo on a Team’s TeamSnap page and acknowledgment on the Knights’ website. If you are interested please contact Ed Lau at elauknights@gmail.com.
