This chart shows a breakdown of the expenses incurred by the North York Knights Hockey Association every hockey season. By far the single largest expense is for ice rental, a sum that is paid to the City of Toronto.
The next largest expense is the GTHL fees and insurance premiums for players and coaches, followed by the costs for officials, that is, timekeepers and referees.
The Miscellaneous category includes banquets, trophies, and photos and also fees for credit card processing.
Administration expenses represent only a very small portion of the overall cost structure reflecting the presence of numerous unpaid volunteers who carry out all administrative duties and for supporters and donors who generously donate resources to the Association.
