CONCUSSION SAFETY: ROWAN’S LAW

NEW REQUIREMENTS TO PLAY FOR NORTH YORK KNIGHTS IN 2019 – 2020

In order to be rostered with a North York Knights Hockey Association team for the 2019-2020 hockey season, all players, rostered team officials and on-ice volunteers must:

1. 1. review the Ontario Government’s age-appropriate concussion awareness resources.
      • 10 and Under Concussion Awareness Resource
      • 11-14 Concussion Awareness Resource
      • 15 and Over Concussion Awareness Resource
   2. review the OHF Concussion Code of Conduct
   3. commit to operate within the parameters of the OHF concussion code of conduct, and
   4. acknowledge review of the above resources and your commitment by completing the Ontario Hockey Federation Rowan’s Law Acknowledgement Form

 

OHF ROWAN’S LAW ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FORM

All parents must review this information with their child and acknowledge that they have done so in order to participate in North York Knights hockey for the 2019-2020 season. All coaches, trainers, and managers must review this information and acknowledge that they have done so in order to be rostered with the North York Knights for the 2019-2020 hockey season.
